Crushed ice works again
Wasn't sure this was proper part, but knew this part was broken so ordered it up. Super simple fix and now the crusher works. Shipping was a little slow, but I wasn't in a hurry for it anyways. Quality part and proper fit and design.

Very doable repair
We kept noticing flakes / tiny pieces of white in the ice from the door dispenser . turned out to be plastic from this deflector. Finally broke all together and no ice would come out. looked it up on PartSelect. followed questions on what ice maker was doing or not-doing. Lead us right to the part needed. I noticed some parts for our fridge are no longer made, so I ordered two of these. At only five bucks something. might be needed down the road and not available.
My son did all the repair. took care to notice how it came off , to replace it . There was a video but my "handy-man" didn't need it !!! Yeah thanks for being there for the DIY'ers

would not crush ice
you must pay careful attention when taking the dispenser apart, especially the long rod that controls the deflector, but if close attention is payed to disassembly you should have no problem.

Found broken pieces of deflector in delivered ice. Removed dispenser, carefully disassembled it, marking fasteners, sprimgs, and levers. Local repaimen say no replacement part available, must replace entire ice maker @ $350. Found exact part in your online reference, ordered at price of $3.76, part arrived two days later--perfect fit, exa

meatal parts were rusted
the part is fairly easy to take apart, however pay close attention to how things fit and go together. It took me sometime to figure the reassembly out due to my lack of close attention to taking it apart. other than that it is simple.
