In this case you may need to replace this part to solve any problems and prevent future damage. The measurements for this part are: 0.8 inches in length, 0.6 in width, 1.2 inches in height, and weighs 0.05 pounds. Remember to unplug your appliance from the power source before beginning this installation. Refer to the manual provided by the manufacturer for further installation instructions.

My microwave runs but does not heat i tested fuses and thermo cut outs but i believe this part on diagram does not test out in machine being off. When i was reading description it said that this closes with to much heat so this part should not have continuity when machine is off, i was in understanding that these parts always should have continuity> thank you

Hi Bryan, Thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts that you may want to check to see if they are working correctly. I would suggest testing your thermostat, your diode, and your hood thermostat as well. Those would be the most likely culprits. If they are all testing fine you may have to take a look at replacing your magnetron. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Should the hood thermostat always have continuity? This is a GE model.
For model number jvm 1870cf03

Hello Don, Thank you for your inquiry. At room temperature, this thermostat should have a multimeter reading of zero or close to it. If it is not at room temperature, the reading should be infinity. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

MICROWAVE HAS ERROR CODE F5 AND BEEPS. WILL REPLCING THE WB27X10194 THERMOSTAT SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?
For model number RVM1535DM2WW

Hello Robert, thank you for writing. The F5 error code indicates that you have an internal damper switch error. That type of internal component failure will need to be diagnosed and repaired by a service technician. Good luck with your repair.
