How to remove a broken door key pin or latch
For model number JVM6172SF1SS
Hi Isaac,
Thank you for your question. You would have to use a putty knife or something flat enough to get between the groove on the back side of your door. There are pins on the front panel that clip on to the back panel to keep the whole door together. You would just use your putty knife to gently pop those out of place. Once you have your door all opened up there you should be able to get to this part. You may also have to use your putty knife to remove the choke as well. It would remove the same way that you got your door apart. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
