Hi just ordered and installed a new long heat sensor for my Maytag wall oven, hoping that was my problem. The part arrived on time thanks! However, it didn't fix the problem. Ihere's the deal: I set my temp at 350, it beeps when it reaches the assigned temp, but continues to go up to about 385. Then, it comes back to about 355 360, then stays there for a bit, then goes back up to 380 390, then back to about 375. Etc etc etc.So.... do i need a new thermostat?

Hi Richard,
Thank you for your question. If you have just replaced the sensor and the oven is still not heating correctly, there are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the high limit thermostat, the electronic control board and the wire connections between the electronic control board and the sensor. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
Preheat - broiler element never turns off once temp is reached.
