I need instructions on how to clean the oven
For model number AEW3530DDB
Hello Peggy, Thank you for your inquiry. To use the self clean option on the oven, it is recommended beforehand to remove all pans and oven racks from the oven. Clean the parts that are not cleaned during the self cleaning process, such as the oven frame and door frame with a nonabrasive cleaner or detergent and water. Clean up any excess spillovers on the bottom of the oven. Then close the oven door, press clean and then autoset to choose the cleaning cycle (light, medium or heavy). After 4 seconds the oven will start cleaning and the clean and lock buttons will appear. After the self cleaning cycle, wait until the lock button turns off (approximately an hour to allow the oven to cool) and then you can open the oven door and remove any ash with a damp cloth. The cooling fan runs even when the oven is not hot, seems like the sensor that activates the fan is off. How can I test this?

Hello William, thank you for reaching out. It is likely that the temperature sensor is faulty. The temperature sensor lets the power module know whether your oven has reached the required temperature or not. You can test the sensor with a multi-meter to make sure that it is working. It should read 1000 -1100 ohms of resistance when testing it at room temperature. If it is defective, replace the temperature sensor, part number PS1570174, to resolve the problem. Removed the oven door by opening slightly, then pic door up to remove. Remove 2 screws holding oven sensor in place, gently pull on sensor to remove, had to remove about 8 inches to get at plastic connector. Unplug connector, had to use an adapter cable supplied with the PartSelect kit to install new sensor, push cable back into opening,
