Hello Jim, thank you for reaching out. We have concluded that the issue is with the water filter housing, part number PS11773022. We would recommend replacing it to solve the problem. It holds the water filter and connects the water lines to the water filter. We hope this helps.
Does this model have 2 water valves? Is there one on the door as well as one in the back?
For model number krfc604FSS01
Hello Ronnie, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching the model number that you have provided, there are two water inlet valves. Part# PS16555249 is the dual water inlet valve in the refrigerator liner near the water filter, and PS12711454 is a single water inlet valve at the back of the refrigerator and is the primary water inlet valve. We hope this helps.
OK, I HAVE REPLACED THE BACK WATER VALVE AT THE BOTTOM, WHERE IS THE OTHER ONE? IS IT THE SAME VALVE? IS IT AT THE TOP OF THE LEFT DOOR?
For model number krfc604Fss01
Hello Ronnie, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching the model number that you have provided, the other valve is a dual water inlet valve, part# PS16555249, that is located behind a cover inside the refrigerator liner, it is not at the top of the left door. You have to remove the cover at the back of the refrigerator liner below the water filter to access the valve. Good luck with your repair.
