The bottom shelf in the fridge portion of the unit keeps freezing up With a sheet of ice under the bottom most drawer. Why is this occurring?
For model number KRFC704FPS04
Hello Susan, thank you for reaching out. According to our research on your model, the issue is probably related to the Drain Funnel, part number PS5573853. The drain funnel channels water to the drain tube. If that does not take care of the issue, we would suggest checking the Door Gasket, part number PS12070280. The door gasket creates a seal around the door to prevent warm air from entering the refrigerator. Frost builds up primarily due to the interaction from letting warm air into the fridge. We hope this information helps!

However, the instruction sheet did not give info on how to access the proper way to the motor that is the door. Not wanting to damage the freezer door assy.

called in a tech who made it look easy, but even he had a little problem locating access panel that was directly under the motor in the freezer side of the door. After that it was a piece of cake.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
