Washer Water Inlet Valve

Hi Uwe, thank you for your question. Most of the time when you are having that issue, it means that there is a problem with your water inlet valve. I could suggest testing the part with a multi meter to be sure. Each solenoid on the valve should be reading somewhere between 500 - 1500 ohms to be working. I hope that helps. Hello Kevin, thank you for the great question. An IE error code indicates that the washer was unable to fill with water. During cold and freezing weather conditions, an IE error code could mean the water in the water supply lines is frozen. Once the temperature increases above freezing, the water supply will resume. We recommend reinstalling the drain hose correctly, making sure the hot and cold water taps are open fully, making sure the drain hose is not kinked or damaged, and checking the inlet filter or water inlet valve for any mineral deposits or other debris that may be clogging. If it does not help, you will need to replace the water inlet valve, part number PS12374721, or the pressure switch, part number PS3526607.
