Hi, could you please tell me on the lint screen should there be a mesh/screen on the front facing the clothes in dryer or should there be no screen/mesh? The wife thinks there was a screen front and back, I think only on the back. Thank you!

Thanks for your question. Yes, this part has a screen on the sides and the front, but there is an opening on the back portion.

Lint somehow gets past the filter and exits outside onto a second floor walkway. Seems that the filter is not deep enough and lint blows through some holes at the lower part of the housing that holds the filter, any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello Richard, thank you for your question. We would recommend vacuuming out the dryer well, to remove any lint that may be stuck there and blowing out when the unit is on. Sometimes a lot of lint will accumulate. If the filter isn't sitting right you may need a few duct and trap assembly. It sounds like the trap may have shifted. We would recommend removing the front panel where the duct and lint trap housing are to be sure it is aligned correctly. You may need to replace it, which would be Part Number: PS11772027. I hope this helps!

Does the filter go into the dryer with the backside of the part that does not have any screen facing the inside of the drum towards the clothes?
