Is there a service flash on failure to filter housing causing hammering of water flow from valve? Pinch in water line under valve? Faulty valve? Water flows normal without filter. New filter ... hammering & flow reduction!
For model number WRS576FIDM00
Hello Peter, thank you for contacting us. Yes, that would be a faulty water filter housing. The little valve inside the housing went bad. This is a pressure maintained valve. When it goes bad it can't take the entire water pressure from home. It will cause the hammering noises and loss of flow. Hope this helps!
