Water filter is stuck will not come out. How to remove filter ?
Chris Boyle Profile
Hi Gary, thank you for your inquiry. Locate the water filter in the top-right corner of the refrigerator compartment. Lift open the filter cover door. The filter will be released and then be ejected as the door is opened. When the door is completely open, pull the filter straight out. To remove a stuck water filter, first relieve water pressure by shutting off the water supply and dispensing several cups of water. If it's still stuck, try a firm grip with a dry towel or rubber gloves, or use a strap wrench for leverage while twisting counter-clockwise. Glad to be of help!

I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.

Had to replace a hose connector at the base of my refrig/frreezer

Perhaps a helpful hint:

When aI received the hose adapter/connector, I inserted the 2 hose ends only to have water drip from the connection.
I used a utility knife to remove an inch from each side, then reinserted the hoses. That made the differnce. Dry as a bone.
