Thermal fuse blows after normal oven usage. How do I tell if the problem is the cooling fan or the control board?

Hello Gary, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the thermal fuse blows when exposed to high heat. Once the oven turns off after being used, the cooling fan turns on to prevent it from overheating. If the cooling fan/blower fails, the oven will overheat. This can cause the thermal fuse to blow. Disconnect the blower, part number PS11751383, test it, and set your multimeter to the ohmmeter O position. If the value of the blower is around 280 O then it is working. If this is not the case, then it needs replacing. If the blower is working fine, you will need to replace the control board, part number PS11752704. Good luck with your repair!
