Ice maker not making ice, also needed drumwheel for the front of the ice bucket, wouldn't crush ice , and ice would get stuck
Took the rear bottom panel loose , the ice maker and water dipenser valve is in the right corner. Turn off water line to the refrigerator , and also unplug the electric from the outlet. It is easier to take the ground wire loose from the valve bracket now , before taking valve out of the bracket. take the two water lines that run to the door and the ice maker loose, then remove the main inlet line. Once you have the water lines off, then you can remove both electrical plugs from the electric coils. The water lines that run to the door and the ice maker cant be confused , because they are two different sizes , so they will only fit the correct side. The electrical plugs are pretty simple as well as, the wires are the same color as the coils, so its fairly easy to see which one goes where. The replacement process is pretty self-explanitary , just reverse the order. Just as a hint of advice , have a sponge or mop ready to clean up the water that comes out of the lines when you remove them. I also changed the drum wheel in the front of the ice bin, this process is not easy if you let the blades and spacers fall apart , as they have to pretty much have to be in correct order , or your ice bin will not crush ice , and you could possibly bust the bin into pieces. The process is not really hard , just pay close attention to what is coming off from where!!! There are two bolt on the bottom of the front cover , take them loose and pull the cover forward from the bottom, then lift a little , should come off. Then the metal front cover should be exposed, ther are two bolts in it as well , remove them , and the front should be loose , this is when you hold the auger and keep an eye on the blades. There is also a nut , right in the center of the wheel you have to take loose , hold the auger then take the nut loose with a 1/2 in. wrench. Once you remove the nut the drum pulls right off the auger. When going back together , make sure the ice crusher blades all line up correctly , as the blades wont work at all . They have to slide back into the blade pivot bracket (slot made into the plastic bucket front). As I said before , be sure and pay close attention , and this process will go easily. The drum is marked front side , or this side out, be sure its installed correctly , as the ice will not feed right. The first cycle of the ice maker making ice will probably be only 1 or 2 cubes , but the second time around you will have a full set of 8 , the water lines get air in them while they are unhooked so you wont get a full cycle the first time.

The door was crocked and wouldn't shut properly
Everything was easy. I read one of your other reviews and it gave me the confidence to try it myself. First i toke off the cap at the top of the door then the three screws. I lifted the door off so i could be sure the cam was my only problem then put the door back on. That took 5 mins. Then I got on the computer and ordered the parts i needed. Two days later the parts arrived and and i took the door off again. Then put the new cam on, applied a litle vasiline, put the door back on and forgot that i ever had a problem. Thanks for the help. Ice Maker stopped working-Fridge failed to defrost and stopped cooling in both compartments.
I popped out the side panel to the right of the ice maker and removed the ice tray-then used a nutdrive to remove the screw under the ice maker. Lifted up on the unit , dropped it down and used a flat head screwdriver to press the tab in on the electrical connector at the rear-then removed the unit from the Freezer. The end cap that covers the controls on the old unit snapped off easily as did the small metal tab (both needed to be placed on the new one) and I re-installed the new ice maker doing the reverse of the removal. Watch to make sure that the white rubber water line goes back into place as you remount the ice maker in the Freezer.

As for the thermostat, I loosened the temperature control cover in the top of the refrigerator by pulling down on it, needed to pull out a bit to clear the control levers-easier if they're centered on the 5. I removed the retaining screw in the center of the rear of the cover using a nutdriver, and that lowered the cover enough to remove the screws that held the thermostat assembly in the upper right (also using the same nutdriver that worked on everything else). I removed the electrical connector from the old thermostat and attached it to the new one. The old thermostat didn't have a cover on it like the new one, and it was easier to make sure that the electrical connector was attached by popping the cover apart-attaching the connector, and then snapping it back together. The new unit snapped into place by pressing down firmly, then I re-assembled the cover plate doing the reverse of the removal.

If you don't count the two hours that I spent defrosting the freezer coils with a hair dryer-these were FAST repairs, and the refrigerator is running like new again

Freezer cold, refrigerator not cooling
First I removed the top shelf and its contents to allow for more room. Then I removed the plastic temperature control housing by tugging housing forward and releasing it from the two clips located at the upper rear corners of the fridge. Then pull down. Then I removed the three screws holding the entire temperature control assembly and dropped it down to access and remove defrost assy. Installed new defrost assy. and re-assemble in reverse. Change light bulbs before replacing final housing. Also, a good time to clean housing interior before re-installing.

There was a chattering Noise from Adeptive Defrost Assy
I first dropped the Cover Assy, which covers lites and controls, this was done by pulling it forward and it drops down, did not remove top shelf so It was a bit difficult to tilt cover assy. for removal. There is a srew located close to filter assy. in back use nut driver 1/4"located to remove this screw, there are then 2 screws located to the rear and side of light holders, both phillips head, the one on the left side is a bit tricky to remove but I use a thin bladed scredriver, Next there are 2 screws located on both ends od the slides that control temp, both again removed witn1/4 " nut driver, the whole upper assy drops down and forward the Adeptive Defrost assy is located in the back right corner of this assy, unplug the wires and unit snaps out, I foud it easier to pop off top cover of new unit so I could see connector assy when I reattached the wires, then replaced the top assy and snapped new unit it place, Reassymbly was reverse of removal, before placing cover assy back in place I replaced both lamps as 1 was out .

I'm looking for the replacement light bulbs for this refrigerator. Your site shows a 25 watt bulb, mine should be 40w, and the same shape as the 25w bulb you show. Mine should also be tinted blue. Do you have this bulb?

I have a light that is out in the top level of the cabinet. Your web site says it should be part number ps11747806, or control # 19, 25w. However, that bulb does not work. The burned out bulb I took out is 40 watt medium. The 25 w bulb does not fit. Traditional 40 w bulbs from local stores did not work. Or could it be a blown fuse. Everything else inside the refrigerator is functioning normally.

Replacing one of the two bulbs that is on the bottom of this microwave which is attached to the cabinet above. This bulb lights up my electric oven range which sits below the microwave and is burned out. What is the part number for the bulb? Does the bulb have two levels of brightness?
