Great fit!
I bought an OEM piece several months ago and it was not a good fit and the plastic bent then snapped. This one is far superior to the piece of junk I bought before. Sure, it was half the price, but you get what you pay for.
This lint screen is perfect.

Second time
The part fits perfectly but is cheaply made. I ordered the same part a year ago. This time I ordered two.

Good fit, not OEM quality
This was an exact replacement for my Cabrio dryer. It felt more plastic than the original one. The original had metal reinforcement along the sides and this is just flexible plastic. I was concerned when I first saw it because it was bent out of shape, but it reshaped itself after the first use.

Good part
The part is working so far. It doesn't seem to be as strong as the original piece. I really hope it will hold up.

Could the reason that my dryer says air flow message have anything to do with my lint screen being worn? It seems to now trap lint on both sides of the lint screen and this is why I am asking. I have addressed all the vent possibilities.
For model number WED6600VW0
Hello Ann,
Thanks for your question. Yes, the lint screen is a definite possibility to explain your issue. We would recommend checking it to see if it is clogged and replacing it if needed.
I hope this helps.

What material is the actual screen made of, meshed metal or some other material?
For model number WED6400SW1
Hello Erin, Thank you for contacting PartSelect.com. Very sorry but we do not have the details on the material used for the lint filter, just parts lists and diagrams. For more specialized assistance or to speak with someone about this, we would suggest calling the manufacturer of the appliance directly. We hope this helps!
