Is the screw made of red plastic? My knob snapped off during a move and I just need to replace the part that snapped, which on my washer is red plastic. Just trying to make sure it's the right thing.
For model number WFW8400TE00
Hello Sel, thank you for writing. This Screw is not red plastic. Looking at the schematic for the control panel, I see the knob as # 2 PartSelect Number PS2341777 and the screw that goes in by it is #9 PartSelect Number PS11746263. However, it is not red plastic either. We strongly recommend you contact the manufacturer, as they may have this information in their system. We hope this helps.
Does this screw hold the drawer handle on ? The drawer handle fell off.
For model number MHWE300VW11
Hello Susan, thank you for your question. That screw holds the bracket to the dispenser, then the handle snaps onto the bracket. If your handle fell off, you should replace part number W10283508 which includes the handle and bracket (item # 19 and 20 in the diagram). If you're missing the screw, that should also be ordered. I hope this helps!
