Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
The hold to start button would not start wash cycle
After disassembly per the video, I identified the plastic bracket holding the button had broken allowing the hold to start button to shift from pushing the red button on the circuit board to start the door latching cycle. I glued the plastic bracket with JB Weld after holding it in proper position with Gorilla Tape. After letting it dry over night, I reassembled and the original Hold to Start button worked fine. I did not need the replacement button as I originally thought. The disassembly process took 15 minutes. Take the time to break the front of the washer down per the video prior to ordering parts.

Hi Gary, thank you for reaching out. Here is information that may help you repair it. First, make sure the washer is unplugged. Also, make sure you turn off the water supply to the washer. You need a screwdriver and a flat-blade screwdriver. Start by removing the top panel using the screwdriver. Take out the three screws that hold the top panel, then slide it back an inch and lift off the washer. Pull the front drawer out, then press the tab and remove the drawer. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw on the left. Release the locking tab on the right inside the control panel assembly. Open the door and then insert the flat-blade screwdriver into the slot in the middle under the control panel, to release the bottom locking tab that holds the panel, and push up the control panel to release it. Remove the interface controls harness plug from the main control board, there is a locking tab you will need to release to unplug the harness and pull it out. Remove the interface control wire harness from all the retainer clips. Pull the harness through the opening in the front frame and remove the control assembly. Use the flat-blade screwdriver to pry off and remove the control knob interface; the control unit is attached to the control panel with eight locking tabs. Push and release the tabs with a flat-blade screwdriver to pull out the interface control unit. Rotate the start button anticlockwise to release it. Place the new button on the interface control unit and turn it clockwise to lock it into position, and place the interface control unit inside the control panel. So, the buttons and holes are matched, and you press down on the interface control. To see if springs slide the knob on the control shaft, lock all eight tabs, and press the button a few times. The opening in a knob should match the flat side of the shaft. Put the control panel back in place. The control panel is stopped by the flex ribbon connector through the opening in the top brace, and the tabs are locked in. Place the control panel connector into the retainer brackets. You need to plug the control panel harness into the main control board and install it. It works when you screw on the left side of the dispenser. Install the dispenser, install the rear access panel, and secure it with twenty Torx screws. Install the top cover and secure it with the Torx 20 screws. Now that you are done, plug the water back in, turn the water on, and make sure it is working properly. We hope that helps!

Hi Sheri, Thank you for your question. Before doing this repair, unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. Then unthread the screws securing the top panel and remove the panel by sliding it back and lifting it up. Then pull the drawer out and press the tab to remove it. Then remove the screw on the left-hand side and then release the tab on the right inside the control panel assembly. Then open the door We hope this helps!
