Does the spark switch deliver voltage to the burner igniter?
For model number JGD8430ADB
Good Day Tammy. Thank you for your question in regards to the Spark Ignition Switch (PartSelect Number PS11744417). Based on our research, this switch causes the spark ignition system to ignite the burner. We hope this helps! Best Regards.

This is a 2 part question: When using the right rear burner the other 3 burners continue to click.
1. If the spark module is defective will one burner not function properly but the other 3 burners will?
2. Is it possible that the spark switch for the right rear burner needs to be replaced?
For model number JGD8430ADB
Hello Tammy, Thank you for the question. It is normal to hear other burners click even if you're only attempting to ignite one. If the Burner is not lighting, you may need to replace the Burner Electrode, PartSelect Number PS11744318. We hope this helps.
I think I need to replace a spark igniter switch for front right burner. Doesn’t light or have a spark. All other burners do. Need to know if that’s what I need to replace and how to replace it
For model number KGCD807XBL01
Hello Pat, Thank you for the question. We would suggest replacing the Burner Electrode. It helps your burner ignite by creating a spark, producing a flame, and lighting the surface burner. We have attached a How to Video that will show how to replace the Electrode. We hope this helps!
