Fridge would not cool at all, because the compressor was not running. Fan running, lights working, just no cool.
Remove the cardboard access cover at the bottom back of the fridge. On the left side, locate the run capacitor. Remove it by prying it loose from its socket, after first removing the wire hold down clamp. One wonders why the clamp is there, which makes it difficult to get the run capacitor out. Be careful not to disrupt in any way the copper refrigerant tubes. If you mess them up, you will have wasted your time and effort trying to repair the machine. I was lucky, since a failed run capacitor is the problem only about 12% of the time, based on what I’ve read. Hallelujah! It was the problem with my fridge.

Frost buildup in freezer
I followed the video tutorial published here. The step I altered was setting the shrink wrap; I did not have a heat gun to safely shrink it, so I folded it tightly onto itself and wrapped it in electrical tape. No more frost buildup.

The repair could not be completed. I ordered a thermostat defrost kit but received a collar arbor for a saw. They do not answer the phone at customer service and the order took close to two weeks to get in the first place. Beware of shopping at this site!

My old seal was torn
I looked at the internet before I purchased a new seal and saw how to repair it. It was a matter of pulling out the old seal and just popping in the new. The internet said to use a hair dryer to melt the rubber to adhere to the fridge in places where it wasn't. It was quick!

Water actuator broken
On the ice / water dispenser, I pulled off the bottom water catch plate and then removed three screws which removes the outside cover and buttons. I then removed three more screws and pulled out the whole assembly. The plastic water actuator is held in by a few small screw with small metal plates. Remove these, take out the broken part and replace it. If your careful you don't have to remove the water hose. If it was too difficult , I wouldn't have taken on the repair - but in this case it was fairly easy.

When the Shelf bin broke, I tried Fridgidaire on-line and was led to parts select. Worked out perfectly!
The shelf was received in 3 days and clipped into the
space on the fridge door in about 30 seconds. This was easy and so convenient to be able to get the part on-line.

Broken crisper supports
The video was very helpfull. They were fixing the same refrigerator that I have. I punched in the set pin on the old part. Removed the old part by prying it out with a putty knife. Inserted the new part and drove in the set pin. I was glad that PartSelect had my parts. The repair shop in Fort Wayne Indiana did not even show this repair part on their computer.

broken door bin
I just had to slide the bin into the slot, perfect fit.

Your site was easy to order from. The pictures of the items are fantastic! I had to call to confirm the part number, and a friendly women took my call and verified that your part number can differ from my number.

I ordered the bin on a Thursday morning, and it arrived at my house Friday afternoon... i was shocked! How do you do that?

Thank you! I'll keep your site in my bookmarks.
