agitator stopped agitating
There are many on-line videos to help you do this. It's so easy, even a beginner handyperson can do it. For this model, just run a strap under the agitator to assist you in lifting it up off the coupler (good tug). Remove the old worn coupler, put the new one on, set the agitator back on by giving it a little downward push.

Agitator would not agitate
The repair was really simple. I pulled off the agitator cap by hand, then put my fingers under the agitator itself. There should be some play in how much the agitator can be lifted up. Some instructions and how-to videos tell you to use a leather belt to remove the agitator but I didn't have a problem removing it with my hands. One quick, hard pull did the trick. Under the agitator, you'll see the agitator coupling, which s held on buy a 7/16" bolt on top. Use a nut driver or a socket to remove the bolt and pull the coupling straight up. Use a wire brush to scrape away all the crud underneath it and on the metal splines. Once the area is reasonably clean, slide the new coupling into place and reattach it with the new bolt that is provided. Line up the grooves in the coupling with the grooves in the agitator and snap it back down into place. Replace the agitator cap and you're all done.

belt and water pump
Belt had worn and was shredding and melting due to pump not draining tub. Too bad my wife and daughters couldn't tell me the pump wasn't working right any sooner. The belts slow disintigration over time made a black, gooey mess inside the machine. Worked on the machine in place and only removed front. Old belt removal was easy with screwdriver prying around motor pulley but replacement was challenging in the tight space under the machine. It did go on by working-rotating belt around back of agitator pulley. By far the hardest part of the job. Replacing pump was easy enough but made a water mess and had to adjust clamps for leaks. Machine is now good to go.

control knob's inner teeth were ground down and wouldn't adjust timer knob
I ordered both control knob ($6.46) and timer knob ($22.61).I didn't need/use the timer knob, so I returned it. I switched out the control knob by removing plastic pin and replaced w/ new control knob & pin. My 3-yr old grandson sat on the dryer and held the flashlight. I certainly saved mucho by not calling "repair-man"..Total repair was $6.46 + S & H.Now, if we can just keep this baby (family of 6)going til it's time to downsize.

Washer timer would not advance.
I watched the video on the knob and clip, ordered the new knob only to find out I needed a new timer as well. The little gears were striped off at a closer look. So I ordered a new timer. They were sent out right away, that was nice. We both parts now, the install took about ten minutes.
