Dryer stopped and the interior light was out.
I took the front panel off and cleaned out all the lint. I tested the high limit fuse and determined that was the problem. I ordered the parts. When the parts came in it just took about 30 mins to replace the fuse and the thermostat.

installation instructions left something to be desired
The installation instructions only told me which of the relays shouuld be used on an electric dryer and which were for a gas dryer. However, I looked on Partselect website and could see an exploded view of the dryer and was able to figure how to install. It was as simple as lifting the top of the dryer that was held only woth spring clips, removing 4 screws plugging in 2 relays and re installing the screws. Please note, unplug the dryer first! The wesite said that these hihg and low limit relays were the problem 36% of the time. They were right, total cost under $30.

Dryer would not start.
First of all I went to your website and used the instant repairman. I typed in my dryers symptoms and it told me that 63% of the time the high limit kit would fix the problem. I watched the video on how to replace the parts - unfortunately my dryer was diff. than the one in the film. I unscrewed the panel on the back of the controls for my dryer. The rest of the back and sides on my model are one solid piece. Taped inside the panel was the schematic for my dryer. On the schematic it told me that with the top of my dryer opened I should be able to access the high limit thermostat. Using a nut driver I removed the nuts to allow the top of the dryer to open. The thermostat was clearly visible. I had to bend the metal piece it was attached to up, unscrew the thermostat and unclip the wires, screw in the new thermostat, reattach the wires, and bend the metal piece back into place. Unfortunately my schematic did not tell me where to find the thermal fuse which came in the kit and was also supposed to be changed. So I opened the front of the dryer and still could not locate the fuse. But I was able to do A LOT of vacuuming!. Anyway I looked up my dryer online and it said the fuse should be close to the high limit thermostat. So I went back into the top of the dryer and finally located the fuse on the frame that held the heating element. I unsnapped the metal piece that held the fuse in place, unclipped the wires, replaced the fuse, clipped the metal piece back on that held it in place and clipped the wires back on. I screwed the front and top of the dryer back into place and replaced the panel from behind the controls. And YEahhhh. It worked! I ordered my parts one morning and received them the next day. Awesome experience!!!! A GIRL fixed the dryer!

Broken dryer belt
First and foremost, PartSelect is awesome! I placed the order on a Monday afternoon with regular shipping, and I had the belt Tuesday evening. Total repair involved removing several screws to open the top and front of the dryer, then installing the new belt. Pay close attention to the the dryer seal - make sure this is completely set. This was a very, very easy repair, and it cost me less than $20 for part and shipping! Also, the video on the PartSelect site shows exactly how to make this repair, and was very helpful.

Drier would not start.
First of all I learned how to open the top and front panel of the drier from the instructional video. I saw the inlet to the blower was completely blocked with a thick bunch of lint. This blockage seemed to have caused damage to the components of the high limit kit. I cleaned inside the drier of the lint and ordered the high limit kit. It arrived within two days. Replacing the thermal limiter mounted horizontally on top of the heater was easy. Figuring out how to disassemble the fuse mounted vertically on the side of the heater was difficult. Here the video was the great help. Replacing the fuse was easy also. After putting the front and top panels back together, I turned on the switch and the drier started and is still working fine.

Dryer shut off too soon. Most of the time with in 5 minutes of starting it.
Started by buying the High limit Thermostat by its self that did not correct the problem. Bought the High Limit Kit that had the thermostat and thermal fuse (for less dollars) that corected the problem.

Dryer time is very long. Lint not collecting.
I removed the old door seal and installed the new one algining the slots with the inserts and the seals. Old filter out, new filter in. Install was successful but dryer still not drying even though it's producing heat. I guess I will need a replacement.
