Ice dispenser door not closing. Two possible fixes
Watched the videos for replacing both the solenoid and the ice door flapper. Ordered the parts, watched the videos again and changed out the parts. I used a Philips head screwdriver and a little WD40 to clean up some rust. The instructions in the video were very easy to follow and simplified the process. PartsSelect's video showed the demonstration on a refer like mine as opposed to another site, which helped me be familiar whenI opened it up.

Auger blade broke and not providing ice.
Followed the instructions which walked me through the installation. When I had a question, paused the video instructions and carefully watched the technician and repeated his actions. My results were the same. Amazed how simple after watching the video completely before starting repair. His tip to let sit (and warm up) was vital. Letting the plastic become pliable before attempting to disassemble is critical. Again, watch the video first, pause & replay when you have a question and take you time. You can do it if I can.

would not "dump" ice cubes
I am more than 80 yrs, always thought I could fix just about everything--but, this looked complicated. Once I received the new icemaker; took a good look where the screw-holes, etc. were, then removed the "old" one. Took about 20 or 30 minutes, then the "new" one was easily installed.

Broken Ice Funnel
Tips: Watch the video on installing ice flapper installation. when removing trim, watch how he does it in the video VERY closely -you bend the trim towards the outside to disengage the clips, if you just pull out you will break the clips. the light had fused the plastic sides to the inside of the dispenser housing so the judicious application of force was required to get the white plastic housing out. when installing the new funnel, be sure the tab goes behind the switch and the spring goes around the pivot opposite the switch with the leg of the spring on top of the white plastic housing. (My funnel fell out in pieces so I had no idea how it was originally installed.)

Noisy Howl from Freezer "Awwwwooouuuuuuu" (Repeat)
Parts were perfect. Shipment great. It took a bit of time to get back to the Evaporator fan, so i basically had to take the entire freezer apart. Not a problem. The one issue i ran into was my unit had 2 white wires which connected to a silver bullet thing, that were not included in the wiring harness. Maybe I could have ordered that part (thinking out loud) I had to cut the old one apart, and adapt them into the new one, which had 2 holes to spare for this purpose. I guess i could have spliced every wire, but didn't. The freezer now SOUNDS LIKE A FREEZER. Thanks,

ice falling out of the door onto floor
Ordered part using the schematic, it got here the next day!! Took out the ice bin, using the 2 butter knives, I pried the side clips and slipped the dispenser out, , I removed the broken plate, and carefully threaded the auger into the hole of the new plate, slid it into the dispenser and seated clips, placed back into ice bin and attached the 3 screws on the bottom to hold in place! A 70 yr old lady repairman, who would have thought it.
