Leaking front dooor
Reviewed info from prior users and sat down with a cup of hot coffee to review needs. Found it easy to strip out old door gasket. Compared it to the new gasket and made sure i understood which side went into the channel. Then cleaned up that channel with soap and rinsed and dried it carefully. Installed new gasket in just a few more minutes. Did not need the new strike plate. And as part of the cleanup and test I added 2 cups of vinegar which removed some of the build up of calcium deposits. I'll do that again another time or two until it cleans it all out. Voila, dry floor and a happy family! Many thanks, Dave

Dishwasher made loud noise and leaked a lot of water
Replaced the Pump Motor and Housing Assembly. Generally the video did very well in showing what to do. However, it underrated the difficulty of getting the assembly to fit properly and seal in place. The clamps to secure it were difficult, but eventually got it through about 5 repeated attempts. Now after first us, it is working well.

Motor worked but had become very loud
Watched the videos on Parts Select and one or two on other sites to get an idea how difficult the repair was. Ordered the part (circulation pump motor). I waited until I had the time to do the repair and a couple of extra hours just in case (ignore Murphy's Law at your own peril). The most time consuming parts were removing the connections (water supply and drain pipe) and dishwasher from the cabinet. Changing the motor was easy but make sure you have a nut driver with a long shank (8" or longer) to reach the nut holding the motor in place. After the repair, replacing the connections, and moving the dishwasher back into the cabinet, I left the kick plate off and ran the dishwasher to make sure the connections were water tight. Success. Dishwasher purrs like a kitten.

Upper rack not washing;no spray arm action
Remove the spray tube from the clips at rear and top of the tub. This is done easily by hand by slightly twisting the water tube away from the surface of the tub. Remove lower spray arm by rotating the flanged "nut" and spinning the spray arm off the shaft. Remove the water tube assembly by rotating it clockwise about 1/4 turn and lift out, set aside. I had to use pliers to hold the spray arm nut. Then use a TORX bit, #12 and 14 sizes needed to remove the cover for access to the lower sump and the cover over the chopper assembly. Remove the cover over the chopper assembly by lifting to the right after removing the screw on the left side. In my case, the chopper blade had come off the shaft and the metal screen was clogged with ground food particles, This was the reason there was NO water flow to the upper rack. Use pliers to grip the shaft end of the chopper assembly and pull toward the front of the tub to release it while lifting it up and out. Completely flush and clean out the sump area of food debris. I found a piece of heavy plastic from package wrap in there that I suspect jammed the chopper blade causing it to spin off the shaft. I used a basting bulb to suck up the debris and water. Install the new assembly by gripping the shaft end and compressing the spring to allow insertion of the metal screen into its slot and engagement of the shaft of the chopper assembly with the drive. It took me longer to do this than any other step due to the awkwardness of leaning over the door and poor lighting inside the tub. Use a flashlight if needed. Reinstall everything in reverse order ensuring that all TORX screws are snug but not over tightened, When installing the water tube before the lower spray arm, it is easier if the lower section of the tube is "unsnapped" from the vertical part which can easily be attached after the lower tube part is rotated counter clock-wise to its correct position. Snap the tube back into place at the rear and top of the tub, reinstall the racks and you are done. AS A SIDE NOTE: I hired a service tech to fix the no flow problem and wasted $70 on the service call. He not only did not dig into why no water was reaching the top rack but insisted that the machine needed a new circulating pump and motor for a cost more than ten times this simple fix. That would not have fixed the problem.

stopped mid-cycle & had no power
I am a beginner level do it yourselfer who wasn't about to pay for a service call on my 5 yr old dishwasher. I figured i'd need that money to put towards a new one. But the website showed that the fuse fixed the problem over 50% of the time, and was less than $20 so I figured it was worth a try. (I had to return an item to part select before and it was hassle free - just had to pay shipping - so I knew I could return it if the fuse didn't fix the problem.) I was able to follow their online instructions & repair video to remove the old fuse and had my dad use his voltage tester which showed it wasnt passing any current. So I ordered the new fuse and was pleasantly surprised when it came earlier then expexted. It took me longer to find the right screwdriver than it took to install the new fuse. I normally shy away from any type of electrical work, but it really was very easy to replace. And once I got it put back together and turned the breaker back on, it picked up right in the middle of the cycle it had been on when it stopped working. So glad i checked partselect before going out to buy a new dishwasher!

Leaking Door Gasket
Read this entire instruction before starting. The old gasket is pressed into a slot, so to remove the old one simply requires that you grab one end and pull it out, but first only pull a few inches of the gasket so that you can note its orientation in the slot since the gasket is not symmetrical. Now remove the old gasket and wipe the slot and surrounding surface clean of any detergent residue with a damp sponge. Next, start the new gasket at BOTH ends (ensure that they start at the same location as the old one) and press the new gasket lightly into the slot, working your way all the way around. Ensure that it is even and partially seated. There will be no extra length so if you have any slack, you have the gasket stretched. DO NOT cut or trim the gasket. Once everything is partially pressed in place and even, go back and press the gasket firmly into the slot. When complete, the door will need to be closed/latched with slightly higher pressure than normal the first few times but after a few cycles, the gasket will be fully seated and the door will close normally. Some versions of this dishwasher may need the strike replaced but this particular one did not.

Dishwasher making vibrating noise
Replacing this motor is fairly simple. I had installed the dishwasher 5 years ago with longer water supply and drain lines - just in case. So after disconnecting power lines and mounting screws all I had to do was turn the dishwasher on it's side. Power to the motor is a simple disconnect connection. The motor is held in place by a 3/8" screw, you'll need a long, about 6", nut driver to get to the screw. Once the screw is removed you can rotate the motor counterclockwise then pull out. Mine took some effort. There will be a screen that will probably be knocked loose. The screen can only been installed one way and there is a slot that lines up with the inside of the dishwasher motor housing. Mine was clogged with some dish washer soap so I cleaned it before placing it back in. After that it is just a reverse of the install. Took me a little under 45 minutes start to finish.
