Followed the video. Removed the case and holder clips (not really needed) and replaced the springs. It did nothing to stop the problem and there are no more fixes.
I cannot beleive an engineer at whirlpool mad it so difficult to get the top off, it took a nut drive of two different sizes to get the four corners loose the back is a solid piece which is crazy too. they need to follow speed queen on maintenance of their systems they design the front panel comes off and the back and you have full access.

We had water leaking all over the floor
After determining where the leak was coming from I searched the web for help. Your website was the most helpful. I used some of your previous client comments to help me fix my washing machine. After trying without any luck in removing the broken pump I referred to your repair stories and determined that I would need to apply a little more force. Using a screw driver and hammer I pried off the face of the existing pump, then I used pliers to pull out the impeller, after that I was able to remove the remaining piece of the pump. After that I sanded the shaft, applied some vaseline and then installed the new pump. It was very easy once the broken part was removed.
I clean out the fabric softner dispenser on my machine on a regular basis and found the seal split. After looking at several sites to try and find this part, I found this one. Ordering couldn't have been easier and repair only required pulling up the cup for the softner and installing the cap.
I ordered the new cogs but didn't want to wait the few days for them to arrive. So I decided to try and temporarily repair the old ones. After looking at the picture of the new ones on this site I realized that the teeth were just worn down. I took all four of them out and used a grinding disc to carve the teeth down deeper. They were not perfect. (I would recommend holding the teeth with a vise.) However, after reinstalling the cogs the machine worked perfect and that was two weeks ago. I'm not going to install the new ones until I have to.
1. Removed back panel. 2. Removed Entire control paned, control and switch units disconnecting wiring assembly from motor. 3 Tilted front and side panel assembly away from frame, tub assembly and motor transmission assembly. 4.Removed cap from top of agitator, removed bolt holding agitator. Removed agitator, this part was tricky since some corrosion on shaft made agitator very difficult to pull off. 4. From bottom of unit disconnected motor/transmission unit from wash tub. 5. Located clutch assembly and removed lock washers. Removed clutch and replaced with new one. ------------------------------------------------------------ Steps 1 thru 3 were unnecessary. All that needed to be done was to removed the agitator assembly. then turn unit on it's side or back and removed motor and transmission from the bottom.
Wash cycles worked normal but agitator would not rotate clothes
I ordered my parts from partselect and had them at my door the following day (AWESOME!) I removed the dispensor on the top of the agitator and reached inside to remove the protective cover to the cams/bearing area. I then removed the center bolt (7/16) and lifted the agitator off the shaft. Replaced the parts I ordered (Part Number: PS334650 Agitator repair kit, and replaced the Upper Agitator Part Number: PS342399) Everything fit perfectly and the instructions were quite simple. Washer now works like a charm and I didn't have to replace my washer. I was very impressed and surprised with the delivery time of my order. I will definitely use this website again for any appliance repairs I need. MrL 11/2010
Machine delivered without fabric softener dispenser.
Removed the cover where the dispenser would have been installed and snapped the new one in. 5 minutes. When useing the dispenser after adding softener make sure to fill the dispenser with water to dilute and prevent staining.
Being female & never working on appliances, it was a challenge for me. I took the spinning unit apart: 1) Outer cap 2) Inner cap 3) Screw, nut & bolt popped out. Rusty & wouldn't lock into place anymore. Ordered nut & washer at about $10 + shipping. Total $17 from MayTag Rec'd right at 7 days via USPS. Used nutdriver/wrench to screw in new bolt w/washer. Wah la! That did it! Washer working great now! Now that I'm a "diy" handy person, I'm ready for my next challenge. Hopefully, none!
Pulled up on fabric softener dispenser and removed it. Had to use pliers to remove cap and seal to get access to the bolt holding the agitator in.
Realized my socket extension wasn’t long enough so went to Lowe’s and bought another.
Was unable to hold the bottom of the agitator to keep it still and get enough leverage to remove the bolt. I poured hot water over it and then climbed into the washer and used my foot to hold the vanes still while I removed the bolt. Once I got the agitator out, the rest was a breeze. Separated the top of the agitator from the bottom by placing it on the floor, using my feet to hold it down and pulling up to remove the top part of the agitator. Turned the top of the agitator upside down and removed the cam and feed dogs. Assembled the new one and held the agitator top horizontally while placing the new part back in. Reassembled the top and bottom of the agitator and put it back into the washer. Tightened the bolt, replaced the cap with its seal and pressed the fabric softener dispenser back into place.

Removed cabinet found tub spring had worn thru rear frame, spring was also almost worn thru. Checked suspension springs very very worn at mounting points. Ordered needed parts. All in Stock. First bracket came the next day took 5 days to get the rest 1 part at a time. Forgot to order suspension spring clips, order them next day shipping came the next day . Just because parts are in stock doesn't mean you will receive in a timely fashion if you need parts better order next day freight. Videos, parts diagrams and instruction are great, regular freight is not good
After moving washer and UN-Plugging electrical. 1. Remove the 2 screws that hold the Control Panel to the lower chassis. 2. Lift the Control Panel up and forward to expose the water level switch. 3. Remove the dial. 4. Remove the old switch, (a plastic tab locks it into the panel, try to release it(from the front) with a small screwdriver, (mine broke off, releasing the switch). 5. Remove the electrical connection by lifting the connection locking tab. 6. Remove the air tube. 7. BLOW into the air tube to ensure it is not blocked. 8 . Reconnect the air tube and electrical connection. 9. Carefully install the new switch into place, turning it to line up and lock the tab into the panel. 10. Re-install the dial and return the Control Panel screws into the lower chassis. NOTE: If the included air hose needs to be replaced, the time and difficulty needed to make repairs will increase.
Tipped the washer (combined, stacked washer and drier)back against the wall at a 45 degree angle and braced it up for safety. The pump is located at the front and bottom of the washer. Access is cramped. Removed the spring hose clamps with pliers, disconnected the hoses and released the metal pump attachment springs. Pump came off the drive shaft with a good pull. Reinstalling was more trouble due to the cramped access. The shaft needed to be sanded and lubricated with silicone before the new pump would slide on. It required a fair amount of force to get the pump in position, reconnect the hoses and the clips holding the pump. The top clip was the most difficult. Repair successful.
