LG Air Conditioner Cross Flow Fan Assembly
PartSelect Number PS3528648
Manufacturer Part Number 5901A20050A
This black cross flow fan, also known as an evaporator fan blade, circulates air across the evaporator or condenser coils in your air conditioner to help cool the room. It is typically located within the unit. To identify a broken cross flow fan assembly, look for a few signs. First, you may notice reduced or no airflow from the air conditioner. Second, listen for unusual noises like rattling, grinding, or squealing coming from the fan. Finally, inspect the fan blades and motor for visible damage such as cracks, bent blades, or signs of wear and tear. To replace the fan, detach the front grille and remove the control box assembly and air guide assembly from the unit. Loosen the screw on the cross flow fan and the screws securing the indoor motor and earth wire. Remove the supports on both sides of the fan and then pull out the fan from the air guide. This replacement part is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer and is sold individually.

If your dehumidifier is loud during its cycle, or the coils are icing over, the turbo fan could be the issue. This fan assembly is made of black plastic, has an outside diameter of approximately 8 inches, and it is sold individually. This is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
Installation Instructions
Cheryl from Bradner, OH
turbo stopped spinning
Had to pop open the back. The back did not just unscrew and come off. It has to be pried off carefully. Took the turbo off and put the new one on.
