Turntable did not turn
The motor shaft was broken. This microwave is mounted over a stove. first unplug the microwave. I removed 6 screws from the bottom to gain access to the turntable motor. Remove single screw holding motor. Rotate motor to remove. unplug wiring plug from motor. Reverse procedure to install new motor. Note that spindle for turn table goes on from above and is indexed to motor.

Is this turntable motor compatible to 60hz, 3.0 w, 3rpm . Those numbers are the specifics for the electrical. The original part number is ssm-16hr mdck0300f

Hi John, Thank you for the question. This motor is 60hz, 3rpm and 120V. Sorry it does not state the Watts. Checking the model number this is the correct turn table motor for the appliance. The ssm-16hr mdck0300f are not actual part numbers. Hope this helps!
