This part is the replacement gasket for the crankcase on your engine. The gasket helps to create a seal on the crankcase and prevent leaks. If you notice that your engine is not running at peak performance, it could be because of a damaged crankcase. A damaged crankcase gasket can cause serious problems in your engine, so it is recommended to replace it immediately if it is damaged. This product is gray in color and is sold individually. It is a genuine OEM part from the manufacturer.

When replacing the crankcase gasket, is a gasket sealant needed along with the new gasket?
For model number 126T02-0675-B2
Hello Matt, thank you for your question. Gasket sealant is commonly used alongside solid gaskets, as they are repairing older parts. Gasket sealant can be used to make cheaper gasket materials more robust, increasing adhesion and chemical/water resistance. There are many types of gasket sealant available, just the same as gasket materials, each for different applications. A general rule, if you are using gasket sealant, you don’t need a lot! A tiny amount skimmed over a surface to fill any slight indents is all that is required for most applications. I hope this helps.
