This ice maker does not stop making ice. Does part number wr17x11450 fit on top of the ice tray and stop the ice maker from making ice when the tray is full? I don't see this part on the fridge.

Hello Robert, Thank you for the question. The Ice Bucket Diverter prevents the auger from pushing cubes over the side of the bin. There is a shut off arm on the bottom of the ice maker that tells the ice maker to stop making ice when the bucket is full. I suggest checking this arm to make sire it is not frozen and stuck or damaged. Hope this helps!
