This machine drips water into the drum when not in use. Every time we open the machine, there is water standing inside it. The drip seems to be coming from the water inlet. I assume the valve has calcium deposits or is just not fully closing. Before i buy a valve and it ends up being something else, i wanted to ask if this should fix the problem.
For model number WT4870CW
Hi Mark, Thank you for the question. Yes, I suggest replacing the water inlet valve. The valve can get a build up inside and it will not allow the valve to close fully and water will leak through into the tub. Hope this helps!
