Does the dryer gas valve limiter (661580) affect the flame size? The part looks like it can be adjusted (I have the part that looks like the one in the parts breakdown diagram).

Thank you for your question. Gas valve limiter opens to release excess pressure from the gas valve if the gas supply pressure exceeds the normal rating. The flame would be adjusted by adjusting the air shutter at the end of the burner tube. We hope this helps!
Whirlpool dryer does not dry well. Clothes still wet!

If the issue remains, the problem might be with the coil kit, part number PS334310, cycling thermostat, part number PS11743793, or the flame sensor, part number PS11741429.
