Washer will not drain
Went to YouTube video and followed instructions.

Hardest part was making sure water from hose does not flood floor while taking it off from water pump and letting water drain in bucket.

Top Load washer would not drain to complete spin cycle.
Though I could hear and feel the drain pump running, the washer would not drain. This model does not have a filter for the drain pump. I lowered the discharge hose from the stand up pipe on the wall, and lowered it to the floor. Water ran right out, so no blockage in the drain system. After removing the inlet and outlet hoses to the pump, a quick inspection showed the impeller on the motor was off the shaft and flopping around. Bingo, motor runs but cant pump.
Ordered from Partselect and received in ONE DAY. I really didn't want to go back to it that soon, but they certainly did their part. Ha. Thank you all. Greg

Easy instal, taking off entire back panels of appliance is required
Shut off water and electrical supply to appliance, take water supply hoses off to allow for proper access to back of machine.
Take off back panels of appliance. Disconnect two hoses from pump. Take out two screws which attach pump to washer body. Detach wiring which connects pump to control unit ( that takes a little time). Install pump in designated location, connect hoses, connect wiring to control unit, connect appliance to powere source, test run to make sure everything works properly, make final detailed wire connection Pump to control unit, install back panels, Connect water supply hoses .....and be proud of yourself!

Hi Leo, thank you for contacting us. We have found that the defect in the internal hoses that connect to the inlet valve could create a leak during the filling cycle. Also check for loose or corroded clamps and cracked hoses. The tub to drain pump hose may be the problem if a leak occurs during the wash portion. You can access the area by removing the front or rear panels. If hoses are fine, we recommend checking the drain pump assembly, part number PS12592631. We hope this solves your problem!

Hi Leo, thank you for your question! Internal hoses that connect the inlet valve to the tub. A defect in this hose would create a leak during the fill cycle. If the leak occurs during the wash portion of the cycle, then the tub-to-drain pump hose may be the problem. Check for loose or corroded clamps and cracked or perforated hoses. Removal of the front or rear panels will be required to access this area, and some models may require removing the complete cabinet. If hoses are fine, we recommend checking the drain pump assembly, part number PS12592631. We hope this solves your problem!
