my washer stopped in the spin cycle. There were broken pieces that came out from under the tub I'm not sure of what it is it looked like a ring or washer all I could see is part 322 please advise

Hello Raymond, thank you for contacting us. From the description of the problem, the most probable cause is a broken belt drive, part number PS16542496. It wraps around the drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive pulley, enabling parts to work together, and making the spinning of the drum possible. If the drum will not spin when the dryer is turned on, the belt is likely broken. Belts usually become brittle over time, which is what leads to breakage.
