How to access left lid hinge

What determines left/right? Viewing the washer from the front or from the rear? I purchased a “left” hinge arm but what I received fit the opposite side. Looking at the parts diagram, part number PS11756126, indicated by number 14 on the diagram, could be for the left side if looking at the washer from the front, or for the right side if looking at the washer from the rear.

My washing machine lid will not stay up and i believe that i need to replace the lid hinge. Do you know if there is a qty of 2 on this model? Also, do you have a video on how to access the hinge?

Hello Tony, Thank you for your question. If the lid is not closing correctly, the issue could either be the Left Lid Hinge PartSelect Number PS11756126 or Right Lid Hinge PartSelect Number PS11756125. You will need to inspect the parts to see which one is causing the issue. I hope this helps.
