I cannot get the proper size suspension rods here where i live. Can i use a little smaller size ?

Hi Chad, thank you for contacting us. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the drain hose for cleaning. If it does not resolve the issue, then you may need to replace the drain pump, part number PS11754363, to solve the problem. Glad to be of assistance!
My washer is in need of new suspension rods. I've order ones from here but when received and compared to the original ones in the washer, the new ones are about 4 inches shorter. Is there anything than I'm missing? My washer is a whirlpool cabrio platinum and this is the second pair of rods that I buy in a week and neither is the right one.

Removed a cap in the center of the tub basket which has a bolt that needs removed I believe it's a 9/16 after I removed the bolt I then removed the center of the bottom of the basket assembly which then allowed me to get to the basket hub that needed replaced it was a little dirty and I couldn't get it out so I sprayed a little penitratin

Went on u tube saw different video to How disassemble the top to have access to the rod. Changing one by one those rod I was in need of my wife to hold the cover while I was changing the rod.... order for suspension rod kit. Reassemble the top by sliding the cover and to snap.
