Is this knob for the exhaust fan or temperature controls?

I have a KitchenAid 30" 4 burner downdraft cooktop in stainless steel. The plastic fan knob is broken. Is this the correct replacement part? The burner knobs are metal, but the fan knob is a little smaller and plastic. Tia!
