Motor Shaft Seal Specifications

This part is the replacement motor shaft seal for your stand mixer. It is black in color and is approximately ½ inch in diameter. The motor shaft seal creates a seal between the shaft of the motor and the transmission housing. It helps to keep grease from seeping out from around the motor shaft. If you notice grease leaking past the motor shaft seal, then it will need to be replaced. This part is sold individually and is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Is there a grommet/seal available for the diffuser motor where it passes through sump. I understand this part number should work w10195677
For model number KDTM404EBS1
Hi Morley, thank you for your question. Unfortunately that part is no longer available. The seal you are looking for is not offered separately from the sump. I have linked that part below for you. Good luck with your repair.

bevel gear, bearings and housing replacement
The parts I received from PartSelect were higher quality than the original parts. The bevel gear and housing were originally plastic. The new ones are solid metal. The machine sounds and runs better than it ever did. The drawings from the website made this really easy. This will be my first choise for parts from now on.
