Baffle was in great condition
The part is great, the only problem is it didn't come with screws, now I have to reorder the screws and wait to complete the repair. Suggestion, maybe indicate that the part does not come with installation screws, so the customer can order them at the same time to avoid repair delays.

The right part, at a fair price, delivered quickly.
The title say it all. It’s a dryer drum baffle. It’s the right part. The price was fair, so I bought another as a backup. Delivery was very fast.

The Short and Tall Baffles needed to be replaced after falling off
Go to Youtube and type in the repair (baffle repair). Carefully took apart the dryer as video instructed by unscrewing all necessary parts and took pics of the screws and parts as I went along, so that I could put back together without any problem. I did the repair myself not my husband. I will say, that it helps if you have an extra p

Replacing broken Baffles in drum.
Removed four philips screws, two holding door on and two on opposite side of door in order to remove front cover. Then removed two 5/16 screws holding clips that lock the top cover down. Then the top cover hinges up with open access to the drum. The baffles are held into place with two #10 x 1 1/4" screws with 5/16" head each. These had p

Had to put small washers (also had to buy) on the screws to hold it onto the drum since the other screw heads pulled through the drum. Closed lid, installed retaining clips, installed door onto frame, installed front cover around door, then screwed door hinges into front cover and screws to other side. Took about as long to write these directions as it did to actually do the work... EASY job!!

Long baffle had broken off inside the dryer drum.
Removed four screws from the door hinges and front panel. Removed the front panel by pulling forward from the top and found two screws. The part does not come with screws which are #10 x 1 and 1/4" long hex head sheet metal screws. I believe that the screw size is critical as the part may break loose again if the screws width is too la

One set of holes in the drum had slotted screw holes which would allow for installing the baffle with the screws partially installed in the baffle. I would recommend washers for that installation. Check all three baffles to ensure that all screws are tight.

One tall baffle broke off
Went to YouTube. Found video of a guy with one arm in a sling. He showed all how to do it. Was really easy- so I did it. Works great.
Unscrewed door and front panel. Pulled and took the, off. Used standing flashlight to illuminate the area underneath the dryer barrel. Tried various tools to take out broken plastic remnants. Then, used small electric nutdriver to screw the tall baffle into place with newly purchased metal screws. Was a bit hard to reach and tight but f

Two baffels broken off from drying shoes
Step one:Go to YouTube and search for appropriate video. Then follow simple steps. Remove front, tilt back top, install new baffels, clean area and vents, and reinstall components. Hardest part was putting back on the dryer vent connection to wall outlet.

How do i determine if i need the short or tall baffle?
For model number MDE6400AYW
Hello Bob, Thank you for your inquiry. You could measure the height of the remaining baffles. There should be 2 that are the same size and one that is larger. The short baffle measures approximately 3 inches high and the tall baffle measures approximately 4 inches high, the screws are not included. Hope this helps!

I asked earlier about the baffle size in this model of dryer. I think you miss understood the question, i was asking if they use all large baffles or all small baffles or if they were mixed. Also i was asking the dimensions of the screws not whether you sold them or not.
For model number MDE5500AYW
Hello Robert, Thank you for the question. Very sorry for the mix up. The appliance has 2 tall and one short Baffle, PartSelect Number PS11741064. Very sorry but we do not have the size of the screw, PartSelect Number PS11741141. Hope this helps!
Where can I get the screws to fasten the baffle? What part number are they?
For model number MDE7600AYW
Hi Loree, they are part number PS11741141, one screw per order so you would need to order multiple. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
I am missing one baffle(boke off).the two existing baffles are 4" tall. Do I order the 3"(short) or 4"(tall) baffle to replace the broken baffle?
thank you
For model number MDG2600BWW
Hi Peter,
Thank you for your question. If the 2 existing baffles are 4 inches tall, you will need to get the 3 inch or short baffle. The part number listed under your model number for the short baffle is PS11741064.
