Hi, so i had ice clog up the fitting that dispense water to the ice tray ps11723114, the renters i had we're running the ice maker still and it only produced about 5 cubes, however it also caused the fridge to leak (maybe 3/4 of a gallon over 8ish hours). I removed the ice in front of the fitting. Could the plugged fitting have caused a line to pop loose or burst? I'm tempted to think the blocked fitting could've caused the leaking by itself, but i don't want to turn back on teh water unless i know for sure it is unlikely it damaged any other part of the line. In the back of the fridge all the other connections are dry and connected properly if there is a leak its' closer to the front. Any thoughts would be great!

Hi Michael, Thank you for your question. It could be the fitting, but I would also check the water inlet valve to see if it is working correctly. If it is malfunctioning, it may also cause a leak. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I am troubleshooting my icemaker. It is not the icemaker itself or the valve that is bad, since I have tested those. It its the water line running from the icemaker valve to the icemaker itself. It is clogged: I cannot blow air through it. Can someone tell me how to 1) unclog it or 2) replace the line? It is part number 3 on the ice maker parts diagram. This may entail disassembly of the door.

Hello Steven, Thanks for your question. You will need a new line if you cannot unclog the line via air flow. You may need to remove the bottom kickplate or a panel at the back-bottom of the fridge to access the line at the bottom of the door. I hope this helps.

See my previous question. I have found and tested the water supply line that goes from the valve to the yellow interconnect, that then goes to the ice maker inlet valve. That is not the source of the clog. Its inside the freezer door. I found where the inlet tube is connected (via water line and electrical cable) but it doesnt have the slack to pull it out so that i can disconnect the water line to clear it or replace it. How do i remove the parts of the freezer door to get to this line or what do i have to do to disconnect the line from the ice maker inlet tube?

Hello Aimie, Thank you for the question. very sorry but this fitting is not listed under your model number so we do not have instruction on how to install it onto your appliance. The water line for this model number that comes from the back of the wall to fill the ice maker on this appliance is PartSelect #: PS2351832. It is just snapped in place. Hope this helps!

How does this part attach? I can see some electrical wire and the tube down the door. I do not see where the electrical wire is connected to. I was about to pull the spout out, but there doesn't seem to be any slack for me to pull the it out. Thank you.
