This OEM convection fan motor assembly is compatible with ovens and ranges and assists with heating the appliance by circulating the hot air required for cooking. It comes without any hardware or extra fan blades. If you hear a scraping or scratching noise coming from the convection fan within your range when cooking, or if the fan simply is not moving, the fan motor needs to be replaced as soon as possible. To replace this motor, turn off your range and disconnect it from power. Pull your range out from the wall and use a screwdriver to remove screws from the back panel. The motor will likely be in the center of the rear panel and will only require you to disconnect it from its wire terminals and unscrew it from the panel while holding on to the fan within the oven with a wrench.
