Ice is dispensed but when I press for Ice it starts grinding and gets stuck in the shoot.
For model number 79572053114

Hi Peggy,
Thank you for your question. If there was a temperature change in your refrigerator, the ice may have melted a bit and when it froze and clumped together. When the dispenser tries to dispense the ice, the ice gets stuck in the chute and a blockage occurs. To clear the blockage, first unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet. Then open the dispenser door and locate the chute, use a wooden spoon or other long utensil remove the jammed ice cubes. After you have cleared the ice jam, empty the ice container to remove any ice that has clumped together and reset the ice maker. We hope this helps!
