Compressor running constantly with freezer temperature at -20 degrees fahrenheit.
Since the evaporator was all iced up, I decided to replace the least costliest item (defrost thermostat kit); did not resolve the problem. Once I replaced the freezer temperature control thermostat, the freezer temperature stabilized right at 0 degrees fahrenheit with dial on factory setting. Compressor no longer running constantly.

Plastic bearing broke on refrig door
The part number was easy to find on the diagram. Delivery was as promised. Instructional film was very helpful and reassuring. Only problem was that the broken part left in the door was difficult to remove as it was distorted and would not slide out. Took considerable persuasion by screwdriver and pliers to remove remaining portion. New part went right in and reassembly was easy. Door works fine now.
