Heating element burned out
Pulled out the stove and unplugged it. Removed the old element after removing the 2 small bolts. First road block I saw wires - I was told the element just pulled out and I would insert the new one. As I am not an electrician I had trepidations and called immediately back to Parts Select. We confirmed I had the right part and the gal explained about the wires and how they connected. From there a piece of cake! Reconnected the wires to the new element (snapped on, reconnected the element with the bolts and I was finished. Thank you Parts Select! The online instructions were great.

burner element shot
Turned off circuit breaker to the oven. Tested oven for electricity. Used nut driver to remove screws holding element. Carefully pulled forward the element and wires a few inches and removed the element from the wires using pliers to hold prongs attached to the wires--do not yank! Pushed new burner element prongs into wire prongs for snug fit. Gently pushed wires back into oven wall. Secured with bolts. Tested oven. Worked beautifully!

The old one had burnt out
Unplugged the stove. Removed the 2 screws that hold it in place. Pulled the element out enough to unplug the wires on each side. Plugged the wires back on the new element, pushed it back into place and put the screws back in. Turned on the oven and it worked fine.

burned out baking element
We received our baking element within 2 days of our order. After watching the video on line, my 27-year-old son got out his phillips head screw driver and took out the old burner and replaced the new burner and tested it within 30minutes. It worked just fine. Thanks for a great installation experience.Mary

the original bake element actually caught on fire, so after searching other sites, my best deal was on partselect.
We removed the old element, which had actually burned in two, and installed the new one. I was extremely impressed with the ease of ordering from this site and very surprised at how fast it was shipped to us. This will be my go-to place for any other parts I might need.

oven Bake Element burned up and broke
this bake element has two special Hex style screws, securing it in place, but a nut driver worked just as well. remove the baking racks, and then loosen the two hex screws. slowly pull the element out of the back wall and then disconnect the electric leads. reinstall by doing then the opposite action. could not have be simpler.
