squeaking, got worse and worse
Printed out what others said, took pictures of everything as I took it apart. I went slow. It all worked the first time I put it back, WOW!
Be careful if you are working with a gas line, use two wrenches to disconnect, less stress on the pipe.

I had 3 knobs break on my washer and had been using pliers to turn them. This is not the first time I've had broken knobs either. I think I must either be a Hercules or they are poorly made!
I opened the pkg. and pushed them on!

Knob that turns on the dryer had been broken for over 4 years.
It is so great to be able to turn my dryer on now without using my bare hand to turn the shaft that the knob was to go on. Nothing needed other than pushing knob in place. I so wish I had thought of looking online for a replacement part 4 years ago. Thanks!

Due to weather exposure, the handle fatigued and broke in several parts.
You simply pry the old handle off with a flathead screwdriver, and then line up the new handle and snap it into place. It took less than 30 seconds! A breeze.
