Tub will not spin, agitator does not work. Already replaced the drive coupling
I generally followed the video. Disconnected the water hoses, removed the front, laid the washer on its back. My water pump is rusted onto the motor shaft so I left it in place. I removed the water pipes from the pump then removed the pump/motor/gearbox as one unit. Watch out for more water than you think being released from the pipes and pump!! Everything works well with the new clutch fitted.

Noticed the agitator was not engagine and slipping
Took the softener mechanism off by pulling upward. Pried off the cap to the agitator with a screw driver then removed the center bolt with a nut driver. This did take a little effort since it had never been removed. Pulled the agitator out of the washer and cleaned all the parts of any soap residue accumulated over the years. Took the agitator and stood it on the floor placing both feet on the sides and pulled it apart. there is a ring inside that popped out along with the top part of the agitator and the small cogs fell out. Cleaned the two pieces and replaced the cogs, holding the main part upside down lowered the agitator bottom into place matching the four grooves after snapping the unit together slide the cog cover into place and gently replaced the agitator back into the washer and replaced the bolt tightly. Then snapped the softener attachment back into place. This required a good bit of pressure but snapped right into place. Done job. Saved a lot of money and a simple fix to a problem. Agitator now works just as it should, no slippage at all. Took about 30 min all together. You can go online to find installation directions for any brand washer that has a full size agitator.

Poor agitation
Thurs. followed video directions, found the dogs to be defective and around 2 pm ordered dogs on line. To my surprise, on Friday around 11 am the dogs arrived. My husband installed them and the agitator is fine. I was so amazed at how quickly the dogs came. The machine was ready to go in less than a day. Thank you for your efficiency.

Basket Not Spinning during Spin Cycle
Took apart machine exactly as described in the Direct Drive Motor Coupling Replacement Partselect video. Once I lifted out the motor it was clear that the motor coupling was at least part of the issue because it was in place but broken in pieces. I replaced the 2 plastic couplings and the rubber piece and put the machine back together, as described in the video. Afterwards, the spin cylce worked great, quiet and fast as ever. Very happy I did this myself I'm pretty sure I saved a few hundred bucks vs. a repair tech coming to the house. Note that the new couplings require some tapping in order to sink into place.

Washer would not aggitate or spin
I watched the how-to video twice and the repair was just like it. My only tip would be to have a pan or floor drain nearby to empty the drain hose prior to tipping the machine on its back.

every time we ran the washer there would be a small pooling of water underneath. a little investigation indicated a leaking pump seal.
My son and I leaned the washer backward and I had my son hold it while I got underneath of it and unscrewed the two hose clamps to loosen the hoses, pulled them off. Then I flipped the two clamps holding the pump in place and the pump came right off and it took about 2 minutes. I ran into a little problem putting the new pump on because I wasn't getting the drive shaft lined up quite right, otherwise the whole thing would have only taken about 10 minutes total. As it was I got the pump mounted, repositioned the clamps and then hooked up the hoses...done! The design is perfect for ease of pump replacement; kudos to the engineers who designed it!

little to no water going to tub
move machine away from wall---shut off water and remove hoses--loosen screws that hold valve on back wall---remove toplid, place to side--diconnect water line at tub----disconnect wires to valve,hot/cold---remove old valve with hose attached---take new valve and place new mount bracket on, little tricky did not line up at first must force plate to slid into plastic slot so screw hold lines up, without breaking new valve---once bracket on replaced all---used tape on inlet valves thread when supply hoses replaced--seems shorter than old valve--but tighten up OK no leaks

top agitator was not rotating properly
watched the repair video on u-tube and followed it. Had trouble separating the top agitator from the bottom agitator after removing it from the washer. I tapped the 4 white tabs on the top with a hammer and screwdriver. Top and bottom separated after that.

Replace hot/cold water inlet valve
My washer leaked water in after wash cycle and cloths were wet after spin cycle. The cause of problem was defined in Parts Select trouble shooting guide. Replacement was just as the video described, except this model had two screws on front of control panel and the panel tipped back on hinges. Look at both sides of washers, so when you reinstall the body you know how it should look against the back panel. I didn't slide the whole washer body off, just tilted against a wall. Also, it's not necessary to get behind the washer, so the repair can be done in a tight laundry rooms like mine.
