Remove interior door screws about a dozen or so socket head screws with variable speed drill, disconnect two leads from old part, replace with new part and re-install door. Most encouraging to see new part was redesigned in the area of part failure.

Latch broken but dishwasher still worked
This was perhaps the easiest appliance repair I have ever done. The replacement part was delivered in one or two days and about 15 minutes later the repair was completed. I spent more time removing and replacing the screws that hold the door panel in place than swapping out the part. I read that some others used a pair of pliers to remove the two connectors, I used the handle of the pliers between the switch body and the connector to lift the connector off (make sure power is off).

Door latch broke would not hold door closed.
Opened door and removed 10 screws from internal door skin. Power was not off so I was careful not to come in contact with live wires. Unplugged to old door latch and plugged in new latch. The door skin was then put back in place and 10 screws were reinserted. The door was tested and would latch. A test load of dishes was inserted in the Dishwasher and the unit was tested. All worked well. Discarded the old latch.

Broken handle on dishwasher
First turn off power to dishwasher. I then got dishwasher open and removed screws on inside. I then found the broken handle and I then disconnected the wired connections from the handle and slid it out. searched for it on partselect.com . They had it in stock, I ordered it on a Saturday and received it on the following Tuesday. I installed it and it worked great. I will use this site again for any parts needed in the future.

Broken latch
Turn off the power. Remove all the screws from the inside panel of the door. (Actually, I left the two bottom ones - near the hinge - in to hold it in place.) The two screws at the top also hold the latch assembly so when I separated the panel from the door, it was almost fell out. I removed & replaced the assembly, using insulated pliars to do the electrical connections. The new one snaps right in where the old one came out. Lined it all back up, replaced the screws, and all was good as new. One note, if your door is dirty around the edge where it seals, it's easy to clean it while the screws are out.

left top rack adjuster roller broken
remove the 5 screws it was very easy to change.
But I would tell others to replace both adjusters the replacement is not the same as the orignal part and no longer adjustable because one side is adjusted down and the other side adjusted up. Now I will have to make another order for the right side adjuster.

Fairly common issue -- Maytag handle snaps off and the dishwasher is locked.
My 13 year-old son opened the stuck shut door. He says he lifted up on the sides of the door. I wasn't home and am not interested in trying it. But after it's open, shut off the power, remove the screws holdiing the interior of the door panel on and 2 of them will free the latch. If you remove it before the new part arrives, whip out the cell phone to take a few pictures before you disconnect the wires. Installation is the reverse! Part not expensive, shipped quickly: I was imagining this whole affair would have cost much more.

door latch broke
I first shut of the circuit breaker just to be safe. I removed the screws holding the inside door panel to the door .Lifting the panel I was able to pull out the damaged part. Removed the 2 plugs on the old part attached them to the new part, putting the new part back in place. Replaced the screws and I was done. Easiest repair job that I've done in a while. The cost of the new part with shipping was less than $30. I had called a Maytag repair shop and they were going to charge me $125 to $200.

couldn't get it to start cycle, then it wouldn't latch
Remove 11 tork screws, pry off wires from the 2 switches with screwdriver, then put in new part and close it back up. See where they corrected the design flaw in the original part.

Door latch was broken and hard to open
What a simple fix, wish the part was manufactured better, so many people have to fix it. First of all, switch the breaker off, there is power to the dishwasher and maybe to that part, I did not check, be on the safe side and hit the breaker. Open the door and leave it all the way open to remove the 11 screws? Removing the torx screws, not sure what size they were, could be 10 or 15. Lift up the panel facing you any simply pull out the latch. With a large screwdriver, put the blade in between the two electrical contacts and pry the connectors off the contacts. Throw away the old latch and connect the contacts to the new part. Place the latch in position and screw the panel back in place. Remember to turn the power back on and you’re done. I took me longer to get the tools together than to fix the dishwasher - about 10 minutes altogether.
