Replace the light switch for the refrigerator
Cover the putty knife with tape so you do not scratch the side wall where the switch is located. Slide the knife under the edge of the switch and push in a bit towards the switch and slightly twist to pop the switch out of its hole. Disconnect the wires from the switch and simply plug in the new switch. Push wiring back into the hole and careful push the switch into the hole until it snaps into place.

Valve assembly leaked
The assembly sent is different than what is on the unit. The connectors do not match. We called and it seems you don’t have the correct part. The only part we have found will only connect the ice maker or the water. It will be a shame if I have to buy a new refrigerator.

replace hand screw
unfortunately my fridge stopped working. I purchased another but wanted to try and repair the old one. when ew one arrived, the old one was supposed to be put in garage but instead was hauled away. Had delivery return next day but they had as already removed and lost the handle screw for the bottom freezer and the screw that holds handle in place. ordered the handle screw and picked up the nut. very simple to install the screw and put handle back on.

Removed 4 Stainless steel screw holding mounting assembly containing ice maker and motor. Unplug large plug from refrigerator inside wall and removed assembly. Closed refrigerator and lay asembly on flat surface. Removed ice maker plug from wire harness. Unscrewed ice maker mounting screws from mounting assembly. Reversed process to install new icemaker. Be sure to turn ice maker plug assembly to fit in holder on back of assembly and tape back in mounting assembly so assembly wil go all the way back in the door without forcing.
