I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.

Pug it in! That's it!

Unplugged the old one and plugged in the new, which you sent promptly. No tools. Easiest fix ever.

I went to the source of power on the stove and noticed one of the terminals had come loose from the terminal block and had shorted out against the cover of the terminal junction. After prying the loose terminal off cover I ordered new terminal block and received it the 2nd day. I removed the old terminal block and replaced the part in about 10 minutes..Thank you Parts Select for your easy to find diagrams and quick delivery.

My husband broke the cilp in our rental unit when I had the burners out to clean them. It was a piece of cake to install! I just attached the clip with the screw and nut provided. This website was great because it was so easy to find the part. Whirlpool's website had no images of this part and terribly inadequate descriptions. I guess they'd rather I buy a new range... I'll be back if I need appliance parts in the future!

Took the old burner out and inserted the new one. The burner was received two days after ordering. I was very satisfied with the service.

I very simply replaced the gasket where it belonged and I was good to go!

This is a built-in oven, so the biggest problem was figuring out how to remove it from the cabinet. The solution turned out to be removing the cooktop above it and unscrewing two screws that connected the oven to the inside of the cabinet. The other problem was removing BOTH metal backs from the oven. The first one was easy. The second one wasn't. The old socket was recessed behind the second back, making it virtually impossible to access the metal "wings" that hold it in place, so I ended up pulling out the socket assembly from inside the oven with pliers.

Searched the internet for the replacement part, placed the order and then disconnected the old one and inserted the new burner prongs into the socket. Worked perfectly!!!

We looked at SEVERAL postings on this site. We ARE NOT DYIers. The descriptions on how to do this repair were super helpful. When we read that it only took 30-minutes and was easy, we thought, "Well, they haven't met us!" On the contrary, we got through this without one marital issue. It did take both of us and was kind of like a puzzle. It took us somewhere between 30-60 minutes. We left the door on and worked our way through screw by screw, panel by panel and "voila!" -- we were able to turn on the oven that night without it exploding!! Received the part the day after ordering. Appreciated the quick service and repair took less than a minute.

We read comments by other DIYers and then looked at the video on YouTube. Our range is old and the screw holding the clamp for the block was too tight to remove so we removed the block from the old clamp and left clamp intact. Turned the circuit breaker off. Cut the existing wires and wired the new block to them. Put the block back into the old clamp, put new surface burner in and good as new. My boyfriend and I did it together but I could have done it myself - it was that simple. Thanks PartSelect for quick delivery and excellent DIY info.

The oven light gasket had deteriorated with time and bulb changes. It is a self cleaning oven, which gets very hot during the cleaning cycle. The oven is old (27years) and off the "books" I selected a similar, but slightly smaller gasket (3" OD), and "fit" it to the 3.5" light fixture of the older oven. The gasket material was similar to the original, and I used a usable portion of the original,along with the new gasket to build a gasket for the light lense. Several years prior to this repair, I replaced the oven door springs. Whirlpool, who had taken over what was left of Chambers, had the springs. I did replace one heating element about 15 years ago. The Chamber's salesman told me that the Chambers was the "Cadillac" of all ovens, and it seems to keep running.
