The pantry lid was warped and the hinge pin broken
this pantry lid was warped when the fridge was new. tolerated it for a while finally it cracked then worked pretty well for a couple years until the RH hinge pin (part of a support for the pantry door)broke. I had never bought parts from partselect.com before, but I have in the past bought repair parts from other sites. Partselect.com had drawings of the refrigerator parts that although were a little hard to see were adequate to tell what parts I should order. I ordered the parts, they came in after an acceptable wait. The parts were literally perfect, went right in, and everything is working quite nicely. I am happy with Partselect.com and will probbly go to them first in the future. I actually like the refrigerator a little more now than I did when it was new.

Refrigerator section too cold, temperature usually @ 30 degrees, freezer ok
First off, I learned from YTube how to go about figuring out what might be wrong & how to fix it. I watched numerous videos and narrowed it down to the damper as the part to be replaced. I learned how to use the Jazz Board in the fridge to test components & verified the damper wasn't getting signal to open/close. I removed the old damper & put in the new one following what I had seen on the videos. I found a video that had the same type of damper assembly as my fridge & used it to show me how to remove & replace the damper. This was the 2nd part I had to replace to get my fridge up & working. I spent a total of 224.00 on parts and now the fridge is quieter than it's been in years. Finally, if a 66 year old woman can do this, so can you. Just watch YTube & also PartsSelect also has videos also.

Ice maker had a leak and was putting wter in ice tray
I simply removed 3 nut head screews and the old unit came off. I removed the ice level arm off the old unit and put on the new one. I removed the old wire harness and plugged into the new unit. I mounted the new unit, plugged it in and was done. I had ice in less than an hour. So simple my 11 year old could have done it without help.

After removing the shelving in the refrigerator to access the pantry slide out panel I removed the metal sliding rails that the pantry drawer rides on and put them aside. I then used s 1/4" hex socket screw driver and removed the 3 screws holding the part in place. After wiping the area of any moisture from the humidity on the plastic I screwed the new part in place and then attached the sliding rails and replaced all the draws I had removed ealier. Ice Maker Stopped Working
Tough part was diagnosing the problem: bad water inlet solenoid, frozen inlet line, bad ice maker motor, or door opening sensor? Went to a parts shop & discussed the problem with the serviceman. He said you just need to sequentially replace each part. No way say I, that could cost $300 with a no-part return option.

I decided to replace the motor...Eureka!! It worked.
The underside of the ice maker cartridge has a plastic snap clip on either side of the cartridge. You need push each up, pull the left side of the cartridge out part way & disconnect the electrical connector on the right side(left..you facing the refrig.) With the cartridge out simply remove the 5 screws from the motor plate of the left side & replace with the new one.
Very simple. Slide the cartridge back in the frig. until the 2 snap clips click. Voila...you done! Cost $86..not $300. Apparently the motor is too weak to do the job & burns out quickly. Manufacturer should correct this defect.

Broke the pivot stud for the pantry drawer door
Removed the vegetable drawers, then the glass shelf over the pantry drawer, removed the pantry drawer to expose the right hand end cap. Removed the end cap and removed the moisture control mechanism, re-attached the moisture control mechanism to the new end cap, replaced the end cap, shelf and drawers. The hardest part was figuring out how to remove the moisture control mechanism from the old end cap. You have to slide it to the back of the end cap to pop it loose from the end cap, rotate the mechanism to allow the actuator to be removed from the moisture control thumb slide.
