Washer vs 15yr old Hormonally challenged Girl
When a teen age girl is going through, what I termed as "Bi-Polar" years (ages puberty to 16), they tend to break things with abnormal strenght and misdirected rage. In this instance my poor washer took the brunt of her wrath, after 2 weeks of being told to do her laundry. this model of washer is a front loader, and the door locks when operating. she just pulled the handle, a black plastic bit, that broke. I looked up the part, ordered and had the thing fixed within 4 days of it breaking. It was two screws and done. now we can wash clothing in the peace of knowing we can open the door.
removed the 2 screws holding the handle in place, that was the hardest part as the plastic piece that the screws set into was broken and I had to use a piece of tape to pull the broken receptical out. the rest was a piece of cake. delivery was very fast and ordering was so easy! thank you and I am sure I will be doing business with you again! thanks for everything!
one edge of door handle broke off making it almost impossible to open door
I simply removed old handle by taking out the 2 screws from back of door and then replacing them into new handle . Repair man quoted me 50 dollars plus cost of part ,which was much higher than Part select price . The itemized drawings on the website are wonderful making it easy to order correct part first time .
Washing Maching door Handle broke off. The replacement part cost 75% less than the manufactures part, and fits perfectly
arrived in 2 days. Using this company the replacement part cost me 75% less than the manufactures part, and it fits perfectly. It has a Slightly different color, but the price difference was huge. It was Very easy to install in only 2 minutes with a phillips screwdriver using the 2 screws provided. The manufaturer's part was $80 plus $11.00 shipping. This part cost me $25 with shipping. Amazing!
Had to use a needlenosed pliers and a phillips screwdriver to remove the top screw where the hanle had broken off. The bottom screw removed easily. The new handle screwed into place in a couple of minutes.
It is very very simple. All you have to do is remove two screws on the inner side of the door and the handle will pop right off. Then put the new handle in its place, and put those two screws back where you took them from, and now it is good as new!!
Took my husband less than 3 minutes to remove broken parts and install new handle. Wish the manufacturer made the originals out of metal. Your video made it embarrassingly easy for all who attempt this repair.
