Quite making ice
The new inlet valve came with pisco connectors so had to cut the end of the tubes off. Before doing this I marked all the tubes to make sure they were replaced in the correct order. The pisco connectors are great to use and very quick. The total install time was about 20 to 30 minutes. While you have the back of the frig off make sure you vaccuum the fan and coils. It was making ice in less than 20 minutes.

Maker would not make ice
I suspected that the On/Off Switch was the problem. (Pressing and holding the switch 'on' for 15 seconds to recycle the icemaker did not bring the ice level control arm to life.) I decided to replace the whole icemaker rather than just the switch. (Do not try to replace the switch...almost impossible.) Steps: 1/Remove the Icecream shelf (lift up the front lip and pull out; 2/remove the Icecube holder tray (lift up the front and pull out.) 3/Remove the two hex head screws which are facing you above the ice maker. 4/Pull the icemaker slowly out and and down to reveal the electrical wiring, and unplug the electrical plug. 5/Follow new instructions re the water hopper and the ice-flapper-thingy on the new icemaker, and turn the new switch to 'off' before you start to install it. 6/Plug in the new icemaker, and push the electrical wiring down to the left as you push the icemaker into place, make sure the back edge of the water hopper goes under the water spout. 7/Replace and tighten the two hex head screws. 8/Press and hold the switch 'on' for 15 seconds or more to cycle the icemaker (the ice level control arm will slowly raise up and then go back down). 9/Replace the Tray and the Shelf. 10/Allow the icemaker time to cool and freeze the newly injected water.(This may take up to 6 hours.) 11/Listen for the sweet sound of the dropping icecubes.

water dispenser/ice maker inop
Removed old water pump and cut off ends of all lines. Plugged them into each water inlet/outlet and turned it on. Instant water to dispenser but took about 6 hours for ice maker to get water. Had to prime the ice maker. Works great and saved a lot of money ordering parts from you. Thanks.
