remove water connection; shut off circuit breaker ; follow the suplied directions; reassemble washer . job done - leak gone. Wife happy.

We ordered our motor and pump assembly. When it arrived we followed the instructions that came with it. We had no problem with the instructions. We found it to be really easy. I was very happy since this happened 4 days before Thanksgiving. Thanks for the easy instructions, my husband got my dishwasher repaired in plenty of time for our Thanksgiving family get together.

Took out the old one and put in the new one! Note the delivery time was great! The part was ordered one day and delivered the next! Thank You Ed Andrews

As suggested. Pull washer, remove screws from top and replace with new part. Very simple and easy if you follow steps furnished by this site.

Simply screwed in new cap

Had to pull the dishwasher from under the counter to access the water inlet valve. Disconnected the hoses from the inlet assembly. Removed the inlet assembly from the dishwasher frame. Installed the new assembly and reconnected the hoses. Plugged the dishwasher in, selected a cycle to run to check for leaks.

and there was not supposed to be so I checked the drain and it was clean and I found a part in the back that looked like it was damaged from use and it was so I got a new part and changed it and that fixed the problem. I removed the screen from the bottom rear inside the cabinet that covers the nut and piston and I changed the part and that fixed the problem . Now no water stays in the bottom when the cycle is done.

See GE web site for repair instructions. Take out screws at top of door. Slide unit out there is a spring on each side of the door just look at the good one for details. Easy fix. About 30 minutes.

Took screws out of door panel to get to the latch and replaced old latch with new one. Super easy

Looked up possible causes on your website. Website stated that more than 50% of time the cause was the piston and nut assembly. Removed the piston and nut assembly in bottom of unit behind screen on rear wall and saw that the gasket seal was completely gone . Ordered the part. took less than 10 minutes to install. Tested the unit and it drained completely. Thank you as i was looking at a more difficult repair if the pump had to be replaced.Repair cost less than $20.00.Before changing piston and nut assembly I cleaned the strainer and sump. disconnected drain hose and checked for blockage . i than checked your website that listed the piston assembly as the culprit more than 50% of the time. Removed four 1/4 inch hex head screws from old filter frame and lifted out old filter frame. Fitted new filter frame into place and installed two 1/4 inch hex head screws (the new filter frame only uses two screws).

Squeeze the new link to the cable hook with pliers while locking the vise grip to the cable for easier handling. Then, using the vise grip on the cable, hook the other end of the link to the dishwasher door hook

I watched several YouTube videos on how to make the repair. It looked very easy but sometimes professionals, because they've done it before, don't point out small tips that would help a DIY homeowner. The latch goes easily into the inner door slot but there's nothing to hold it there. The videos show the inner and outer door being closed together without showing that you have to hold the latch in place while bringing the outer door up to meet the inner door. Any movement of the inner door makes the latch fall out. So I would say it took me 5 times longer to do this repair than it would if I was doing it again.

I watched the convenient video and saved an old machine that I've grown to love. Plus I didn't have to pay a repair service or have to buy a new machine.

opened the box , new one was an exact fit, pulled out the old one and dropped the new one in place??, this is more of a review, the new part was the exact same one...perfect!
